Jacob Hyde

    Mr. Jacob Hyde was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. In May 2006, he graduated from California State University, Fresno with a Bachelor's of Science in Criminology along with minors in Political Science and Philosophy. While at Fresno State, Mr. Hyde interned with the Fresno County District Attorney's Office gang unit and assisted with criminal investigations and prosecutions. Immediately after college, he moved to Texas and began pursuing a legal career at Thurgood Marshall School of Law at Texas Southern University, in Houston, Texas.

    During his time at Thurgood Marshall, Mr. Hyde interned with the Supreme Court of Texas under former Justice Scott Brister, where he assisted with civil appellate matters. Mr. Hyde also organized a criminal mock trial competition for Thurgood Marshall and participated in the prestigious Duberstein Bankruptcy Moot Court competition at St. John's University in New York.

    Mr. Hyde earned his Juris Doctorate in 2010, was admitted to the Texas Bar in 2010, and admitted to the California Bar in 2011. He is also admitted into the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States District Courts for the Western, Northern, and Southern Districts of Texas.

    Mr. Hyde is currently a member of the American Bar Association's Criminal Justice and Young Lawyers sections, Texas Young Lawyers Association, and the Williamson County Bar Association.
